Hello There

Wow time flies when you are sick!. Finally better but still have the cough from hell when laying down. But anyway….EVENTING CAMP IS NEXT WEEK!! How can this be possible??

My head is spinning with workload, fuzzy cold brain, and lists of things to take. I got a bit stressed then realized it is NOT a show so if I forget something I PROB won’t be penalized. BUT STILL.

We got the schedule yesterday and while exciting I may be a bit scared too. Dressage in am and Show jumping in afternoon along with unmounted lessons and so on. Cross Country is Thursday am then we head home. I am so glad my time is early on that day so I can get home at a reasonable hour (MAYBE WITH ATLANTA TRAFFIC I will). It looks like I ride with Waylon Roberts and it looks like some other Starter/BN students are with me so we are not the most pitiful ones there. Almost but not quite!

I want to get on the road Monday am early so I can get settled in and get to go on one of the afternoon hacks just to get relaxed and Remus happy. I realize I know no one there well except Joanne who organized it but I am sure I will meet people and get new friends? Hope so.

Anyway to recap this is what we have going on next week. I also have to write an article for the GDCTA newsletter once done (Since I won the OLD FART GRANT)….I still think it is funny that I won!
