Heading to NC again

Mark is going to England so I am on the road again with two dogs (the other two are boarding) and will be there all next week. We have an offer pending on the farm so fingers crossed it is decent (Update it is low). Which we kind of knew. Countering will happen.

It is warm here right now but leaves are falling and the light is fall like if that makes sense. I think Fall is coming soon.

Remus had an adventure with his leasee the other. She found out the hard way to not leave any door open even an inch (Remus is like a mouse that way if he can fit his head in he can get through). She had him in the round pen and oops. Out he went. Ran around the farm and then got caught with grain. Bad horse. She was mortified. I just laughed and laughed and told her about the time Remus got out on Mark here at the farm and he ran 2 miles behind him to catch him. Fun times.

Somebody had a little adventure today… I had him grazing in the round pen after our ride and went in with his halter to get him out and left the door cracked open (rookie mistake, but I didn’t expect him of all horses to bolt) He saw the halter, then the open door, and took his chance and goes cantering out into the back field. He canters around out there for a minute, showing off to all the other horses that he’s in the field. Rebecca comes to the rescue with a bucket of grain and we’re able to catch him. He is completely fine, no cuts or scrapes, just VERY pleased with himself

Remus Lessee….
looks mildly pleased….

May your weekend be like Remus’s day was the other day: free, wind in your hair, and all the snacks you can eat!! Happy Friday!
