I am feeling better and back from DC and our work retreat. So three days of missing work and now trying to catch up!!
Remus is doing okay. Not 100 percent but pretty sound. I am going to take him to Event Camp on Monday, for a few reasons.
A) I won’t get money back if I don’t take him
B) The footing at Chatt will be a lot better than the footing here in North Carolina
C) If I can’t ride in all the things I can at least hang with my new friends I met last year and laugh and also have fun
So that is good. I think he will enjoy a week at camp due to the fact the bugs are so bad here now. He wears his fly sheet at night (I wrote FLIGHT sheet at first and was like no that is not right) but the bugs are leaving his sheath alone but eating his neck up! I think I am going to try to find a new place for him soon where he is in during the day. Poor guy.
Meanwhile, Luna is doing great. I hoped to have more video today but havent gotten it yet. I do have to find a new trainer for her before the end of the month but don’t literally have time right now sooooo that will wait till after Event Camp.
Work is nuts too. I cannot believe I am taking four days off right before our conference submissions open up. Yes I am crazy.

I’m glad Remus is on the up swing! Fingers crossed for a fun event camp, and a good match for Miss Luna for another trainer.

What a busy schedule you’ve got right now. Yeesh! I hope everything goes well at eventing camp and you get to do all the things.

The flies and mosquitoes are SO BAD here. All that standing water from the rain is not helping. Best of luck at camp – I’m sure y’all will have a blast!
