And nope it is none of the ones I posted last week! OOPS.

I literally woke up in the middle of the night early Sunday am and thought of Finnegan. Where did that come from? Who knows? Why did that pop in my head and wake me up. Search me!! But I liked it! And when I got up in the am I looked it up and saw this:
“The name Finnegan, of Irish origin, means “fair-haired” or “little fair one” and is derived from the Gaelic name Fionn, which means “fair” or “white. “
Okay he may not be little but he is certainly fair-headed :). So this is the winner. Welcome to the family Finn!

Eagle eyes will spy a familiar hat on Mark’s head. Amanda Chance this will be easy for you. Hahahah
I haven’t done a ton with him as he gets his feet done next Monday and he is still needing some weight. But hey if Mark can walk him like he walks Remus (AKA like a golden retriever) it is cool. Also he is such a sweetie (Finn, I mean though Mark is too!~ HA).
But I did ride Finn yesterday again and he was good for it all, tacking up getting on walking and trotting a bit on the hard footing, then I led him around out the ring on the grassy area so he could meet the logs (and see a dead skunk EWWWW) and hopefully I can start riding out there where it is less hard ground at least till he gets to the farrier.
Happy Monday (Okay it is gross and raining and cooler and gloomy but Happy Monday anyway!!)

Love it. Finn is a perfect name! Congrats on the new wonderful pony.

Perfect name for him! There’s a Finnegan aka Finn at my new winter barn, but he’s a bay and kind of a punk… so it is not fitting for him.
Your Finn really sounds like a wonderful guy! I can’t wait to see what you all get up to this summer!

Well welcome to Finn! If your husband and your horse get along, I’d say they are both keepers!
