Finn-date Part I

We went to the show on Saturday. It was NOT a success in some ways. But was in others. Finn did settle better and finally got a bit of a brain. Though Toulouse did great for not showing for 3 plus years (T got 2nd in his group) !! Finn had a meltdown when he got there and decided to be a Finn KITE for a few moments. Chain lead line helped and we had control again 🙂

Lindsay did get on him for a few minutes and while nervous he did okay. But he did the same thing where he didn’t want to trot. SO he goes to Vet today for back x-rays. Wish us luck (Mostly wish my wallet luck).

Meanwhile I am stressing over event camp. We are not ready for this. I may need to sell my entry. I also have to travel for work next week and event camp is the week after. My life is a mess 🙂

If anyone knows anyone looking for something fun to do the week of the 9th in Aiken let me know. I would sell it cheap to anyone who is interested that follow me on my blog OR is a friend of one of my followers. It is starter level but I think we could change if needed. Or if you know a deserving kid in the near area of Aiken let me know!! I would make it work for someone!

I just don’t want to push Finn beyond what he is capable of and what I AM capable of. Anyway this is a part 1 of 2 Finndate. I will update (Finndate HA) tomorrow after the vet findings.
