my vet to me LOL
First off if you have not watched Spinal Tap, your loss. There are a multitudes of gifs to use for my horse’s back injections and my life in general and thank you VERY much I am going to use a few of them.
We rode Finn on Thursday am. He had been fine earlier that week for Lindsay and he was still fine(Ish) but he was not as happy as he had been earlier in the week.
So I texted my vet who I had been discussing doing more pulse wave on his back last week. She said bring him in we will check it out. I kind of thought I might end up doing back injections instead but once she saw him and palpated him she agreed.

So I ended up leaving Finn at the vet overnight and they did back injections as well as pulsed him again. He had a sleepover and enjoyed himself mightily.
In fact at one point a vet said he was passed out asleep in his shavings snoring (She didn’t see him on the camera so went to check on him) VERY COMFY!
I went and picked Finn up on Friday am and it has been hot as F and rained every damn day since he got home.
Which fine he gets three days off first (ends today!) but still I am tired of living in a tropical rain forest. The humidity. SHE BE BAD! UGH.
no i really don’t quit but dang i have spent some money LOL
Anyway, moving on. We will start him out lunging this week then start riding again. Fingers crossed. I also had to reschedule the fitter so hope to get that done in the next two weeks. IF it ever stops being so damn humid that is. Gross. North Carolina in the summer (I MEAN IT IS JUNE NOT AUGUST) why you gotta be so moist??

Fingers crossed this does the job. Thanks for taking this ride with me. It is fun is it not? No not really. I still need to buy a new bit (cause a 6 inch is too small) and find draft sized stuff. Crazy.

I hope he’s feeling better – poor guy. Also poor US – it’s so hot and humid here as well. This is about the time of year where I regret having an “outdoor hobby”

It’s been wet here, but not warm, so the humidity is a lot more tolerable. But I’m seeing 90’s on the future cast so I guess it’s coming!
