Do You Know What is Worse than Saddle Shopping or Horse Shopping??

If you guessed car shopping yes that sucks too, but not that this time. HOUSE SHOPPING is the absolute worst. Maybe just maybe if I was like a Kardashian it might be fun because unlimited money (and taste) would mean it would be interesting seeing all the houses.

But being not so rich (we aren’t poor but we also don’t like going over budget) and also having a severe inventory crunch going on in NC (as well as other places I daresay) makes house hunting about as much fun as being prepped for a colonoscopy. And you think I am kidding??

While it was WONDERFUL to see Mark again it was not a relaxing weekend. First off traveling is truly hell now. Especially through Charlotte Airport. It makes Atlanta look like a sleepy, quiet airport. But I got there Sat am and we looked at houses on Saturday then went and drove around on Sunday before taking me back to the airport. I do like the area a lot and people are really nice there (They are nice here too not a dig on where I live right now HA).

Meanwhile, getting people to send you stuff on houses is tedious. We are waiting on HOA stuff for two houses we saw on Sunday. Not ideal but the inventory is SO LOW it is not even funny. Things get offers in hours and a lot of the ‘used’ real estate (AKA not new builds) go for anywhere from 10k to 70k more than asking price. WTF PEOPLE. You are the problem you realize this right?? Sigh. There is no way we are going to be able to find land either so that sucks too. I mean we already knew this. Not that I want this much land again.

Anyway, I didn’t ride this weekend although yesterday and today have been really nice we are going back to heat wave city this week. Yay. Fun. Not. I need to catch up on blogs et al. Hope everyone is doing great!!
