Remus and the Round Pen

Man guys it is HOT here. And staying hot. We had a pretty day on Saturday this past weekend but that is about it. On Sunday I just didn’t (and boots and helmet are on way to be delivered) feel like riding. So we did round pen work with Jenna. Remus was the big drama llama of the three of us though. DUDE you do not have to overreact at all times. But he looked pretty!

I think you can safely tell he is a quarter horse, no? Anyway, hopefully I get to ride this week but it is calling for 97 real temps (GOD knows what heat index will be!) for Friday-Sunday so unless I get up at 0 dark thirty it might not happen. UGH.

We also lost power again. We had a humdinger of a storm on Friday. If the trees keep snapping and taking power and cable lines down who knows how many trees will be left!

We only lost power for a few hours but some people still had no power once this storm came through due to a storm a few days earlier. Tennessee I am tired of you now. UGH.

In other news, we made an offer on a house, I might have found a tentative home for the minis, and my dad, me, my husband and my sister all turn a year older tomorrow. Whew.

  1. Whoa, you all have the same birthday?! That’s crazy! My old general manager had the same birthday as his wife which I thought was something, but all four of you?! That’s REALLY something. I share a b-day with my uncle and the barn owner. So I guess it’s not that uncommon… And now I’m just rambling. Anyway, hope you get to ride and that it cools down some for you! AND that your power stays on, at least until you move!
