Well, hello again…

I don’t even know where to start. I have meant to post since early January and since convention time is upon us again. You guessed it, I am busy busy busy.

Remus is doing well….life is still nuts (I leave a week from tomorrow to go to San Diego for convention so work has been insane to say the least). Let me update you on the last few weeks (or couple months), now let me think…

As you know the beginning of December, Dad died, his funeral was on the 16th of December and I got to see a bunch of my old friends and family who I had not seen in years so that was nice. Mark and I stayed at my brother’s in VA Beach for the weekend and my husband keeps laughingly calling it our vacation. No it was not a vacation, a nice break sure NOT A VACATION. Ollie went with us and got to go on the beach and it may have been a vacation for Ollie.

Before that right after Dad died, I flew to TN to help my friend Diana move to NC temporarily till she goes back to the UK. She is living with us now and her two big dogs. But I flew back to her and drove back with her the next day which was fun (and cold) and long!

But while I was in Tennessee guess who I got to see again?? 

Got to see some of the things they have done around the farm and it was very strange to see it all and not be there anymore. But the minis seem happy and the new owners seem to love the place so good??

So Diana babysit all the dogs and cats and fish while we drove to Virginia with Ollie so that worked out extremely well.

Once back we have had the most extreme flip floppy weather ever. From 70s some days to almost zero degrees and ice it has been insane for only a few weeks of time. And rain. OMG the rain. SO MUCH RAIN. Our back yard is so muddy and gross. ICK. And Remus’s field is gross gross gross. He is also pretty clay-colored now. Thank goodness he is already dirt colored.

Christmas was a different event this year without dad. It has definitely been so strange not calling him or taking him out or going to see him but we had a nice quiet holiday.

And January has been a blur with work and life in general. I have been trying to keep up with reading everyone’s blogs and hope to get back to posting a bit more normal but right now Remus is fat and sassy and lazy (Unless deer go by his field). My friend Lindsay helps me by riding him once a week since I have been so busy and also she and I swap feedings so we don’t have to go twice a day. So life while hectic is pretty good right now! So I am back…….and it feels pretty good. At least it will when convention is over.
