She’s on a Midnight (well an Eclipse kind of day) Train (really a horse trailer) to Georgia….

Luna is on her way to training!!

Barn manager at her barn said she loaded like a pro the transport company has been texting me and said she has been really chill on the journey. Good Luna.

Of course spending a small fortune here on a young horse. But any-hoo. Onward and upward!!

MEANWHILE, Remus made BAD choices today by getting out of his buddy’s field and going over to the neighboring barn. I think the wind may have flattened/loosened the fence in the woods at the back. SO he is put in detention in his own field and I put Toulouse there too. Bad ponies. Okay bad REMUS.

My friends who board at my barn went and got him for me since I was on a committee call when all this was happening. Damn horses. 🙂

SO that has been my day so far. How has yours been? Who is near the eclipse? I think we may see some darkening here but that is about it, we are nowhere near the totality area. Fine by me!!

  1. I think we are at about 90%, but currently it is cloudy and raining on and off. We will see if we see anything.

    Naughty Remus, but good girl Luna! Loading up like a big girl headed for big girl sleep away camp.

  2. Dallas is the site of totality so it’s a mess around here – we had a party on the rooftop at work for it. Super cool to see! The clouds cleared just in time too

  3. Naughty naughty boy, Remus! At least he had fun while it lasted LOL not counting the heart attack I’m sure it gave you lol And good girl Luna! She’s such a grown up girl now!

    We only got about 50% of a block from the eclipse for a short time here in Vegas. It was super clear, so it was actually neat to see a section of the sky the bright blue it usually is, and another section of sky a medium, darker blue.

  4. Naughty Remus! Going off on an adventure like that… Glad he’s home safe and sound.
    Can’t wait to hear more Luna updates!

    We went up to my brother’s place in VT for the eclipse and it was really neat to see totality. I had no idea it would be so much more impressive than the last one that was like 90 something.
