Harmony For Now

Luna has been here over a week now. And she has fit in just fine. The first few days Remus screamed like an elephant at her through the stall walls. And I kept them separate. Then I was like eff it I am tired of it this is too hot to have to separate them. So I turned them out together. HA. Don’t try that at home but it worked.

Remus still makes grumpy faces at her but she is such a Disney Princess she totally ignores him (lalalala) so it all works. She seriously is a happy happy princess pony all the time!

I have bought more long nose fly masks and I also found a local trainer for Luna so she will be about 20 minutes away. So Remus can get a break from the kid and I can still go visit her! Win win.

Remus has not gotten his injections yet. It was so FREAKING hot last week I cancelled for now. I will reschedule sometime but I wanted to relieve the pocketbook a bit before putting even more money on the credit card and also not haul in this weather! Whew it has been an expensive summer so far!

But Remus is happy enough (well except when his little sister bugs him) and we will get him straight later this summer. And Luna is just fitting in great. She is such a trooper with all the changes thrown at her. And she is cute too!

So harmony for now. Kind of nice to have two horses mostly get along fine 😉 No drama here…..except for Oscar the Grouch (AKA Remus)
