And I still haven’t had time to update you all on Luna. It is coming I promise. For now, she is fine and sound and waiting for a vet visit next month to sedate AND shoe her. She is a pill though that one. More to come.

Work has been insane (guys, you know by now the submission period for posters is in September and my life becomes hell!) add a board meeting and materials to get together and normal email and yeah no time for blogging.

I also had a dermatology appt where they sawed off my knee (Not really but it was still not fun. Good news that pathology came back fine, I have a place on my arm in two weeks then hopefully done for awhile. OH and I have an outpatient woman’s stuff procedure end of the month!) Yeah TMI I know! SO BUSY BUSY. UGH. Wear sunscreen people and if you haven’t had a dermatology visit yet, get one on the schedule!

But I RODE! I knew I could not ride after my knee was sewed up so I got up on Sunday and decided to go ride my horse (Remus). He was such a good guy. Bad news is he is still a bit unsound up front for me (he is fine with Lindsay but she is like 12 and weights 110 lbs soaking wet).
enjoy Remus enjoying the fan and his hay LOL!
BUT we had a nice stroll around. In the ring he was pretty off BUT the ring is rock hard right now but we could toodle around outside the ring and trotted pretty soundly. He gets reshod soon so hopefully we are getting there. Lindsay is walk, trot, cantering him and he is not grumpy at all. YAY REMUS. He needs a mane pull but he is just gleaming otherwise!! He is living the life!

Happy Friday all. More to come I promise!

Glad you are taking care of yourself (yes to wearing sunscreen always). Also… D needs to get sedated EVERY TIME he is shoed. So there is that. He also has scratch scabs right now. Sigh…

Oh man, very little of this post sounds like any fun at all. But I’m glad you got to sit on your horse at least! Hope all goes well with everything and you heal up quickly!
