Remus made it to Mississippi on Tuesday afternoon after stopping over in TN on the way there. The hauler had to reroute his whole trip due to all the mess Hurricane Helene caused on the West North Carolina area mountain range. I won’t be driving that way any time soon as Interstate 40 is now closed indefinitely.
So much loss of life and property. We are so lucky as we are not that far away from that area and except for some high winds and lots of rain and some tree damage this area is fine.
Anyway Remus made it and has made a little girl’s dream come through. I need to ask the mom of the kid if i can post some of the photos I have gotten so far. SO STINKING CUTE.
And Luna is back at my barn. She settled right in after she soaked herself in sweat on the trailer ride. Need to figure that out. She seems happy enough on her own. Stay tuned!
A lot of other changes going on (well of course wouldn’t be my blog would it if there were not changes?) and I will update you all in due course.

A hurricane in western NC is just the craziest thing. I really feel for everyone in that area. Glad you are safe!
Sounds like Remus is living the horsey life with his own little girl! I’m glad that’s working out. Luna looks so pretty in that photo! Hope she settles in well and gets her priorities straight!
