Whomp Whomp, Debbie Downer Version of a Blog Post

Me today

I sold my event camp entry to a cute kid with a cute pony so I am not taking Finn to event camp. I feel bummed but also happy for the kid and relieved I am not setting Finn (and me as well) up for failure.

Also me a bit

There will be more clinics/shows etc. this year. But still it hurts a bit.

Not crying nor a downer just a cute horse….

But Finn is doing great. In fact he may be too great. Lindsay says he feels good. When he feels good he starts his trot like a cart horse all speed no finesse. That is so much fun to ride. HA. Lindsay rode him while I was in DC for work and he has had the last couple days off cause it got hot and humid FAST.

But his back is not sore and we have a couple saddle fitters coming in the next few weeks. SO Upward we go. Or at least try to go upward!

Happy Friday!

  1. I think that’s the smart choice, even if it IS a bummer. Glad Finn is feeling better, and I hope you get the saddle sorted out soon! Plenty of summer left for you guys to get out and do fun things.
