Temps are down, Finn is happy!

Quick post on Finn! He is doing great, he is on one ac now and still getting his Guinness. still not sweating BUT it cooled off with rain and cooler temps this past week (creeping up a bit now unfortunately) so he has been pretty happy with no need to sweat!

We had a HUGE storm last Friday that again I was stuck at the barn in the middle of which brought in the cooler temps. More tree damage and it was kind of crazy. The storms this year have been INSANE!

He got a recheck on Monday at the vet and also got his feet done. He fell in love with Mama Waffles a big rescue Belgian mare at the clinic who was getting her feet done in the stocks. Poor Mama was a mess when they saved her.

Finn’s lungs were normal again and he is back to as much normal as he can be. Which is not very normal but still! He was a good boy for the farrier and then we headed home. Fingers crossed when it warms up again he starts sweating again.

He hasn’t been ridden much since this all happened but he got the all clear to start riding him again so wish us luck!! And let’s hope the heat index doesn’t go as crazy this time. Finn says please (He has been SO happy and go lucky with the cooler weather). Life is good Finn says!
