Exhausting week at convention. So tired still but it went pretty well. It was a long week of 5:30 am starts and often working till 7:30 pm or later. My legs and shins still hurt from all the walking.

I moved Finn right before I left and I am pretty sure he thinks I sold him but he was very relieved when I got back! The photo above was the calm before Leo (On the right) tried to run Finn through the fence. Yikes.

I have a bunch of videos but for some reason WordPress is not letting me load any media at all but photos (So hence no gifs either) What a dull post!

My pony seems to be settling in a bit better now (Okay large horse). The mean boys with him are still mean to him but getting better. He is scared to death of them too which is kind of silly seeing how much bigger Finn is to them. Maybe he will figure it out soon.
Finn had a vet appointment yesterday and he and Toulouse rode together to the vet so they got to spend time together. It was so cute how they recognized each other!! And shared food together 🙂

Finn had some shots and had a basic lameness exam and then got his feetsies done. He is a bit lame-ish on his back right hind and we are hoping with work his stifle will get stronger. Nothing huge to worry about and if need be we can do Adequan but for now we are just going to see how he does. The weather is going to be HOT this week but hopefully I can start working him again. I have a trainer right down the road where he is now so I can start hauling to her. I need to start Finn on his OneAc again just in case too! He has so much hair it is crazy.
His feet looked great but look how much growth in like 5 weeks? NUTS right??

More to come later this week but he is doing great and may have even lost a bit of weight from having more room to run around in (AND get chased).
Meanwhile our one year anniversary of Living With Finn is coming up soon (March 8th or so??) Take a look at the difference in feet (And body)
When I got him:

Yesterday

Tiny bit of a difference (And not just in hair growth :))
Happy Tuesday to you all. I MISSED YOU in my hell month of preconvention!

Glad he has new “friends” to run around with – I’m sure he’ll set them straight soon enough after he gets sick of being bullied. And glad you’re back!
