Ponying Finn!

Boy did we play hard last Thursday. My pony was amazing. As was Toulouse. I hauled over to Lindsay’s barn and she quickly tacked up then we walked over to the ring (it is quite a walk so I made Lindsay walk Finn and I walked Toulouse (leading of course).

Finn wasn’t being bad but I am short and he is not and my arms were hurting up one hill. LOL he was good with Lindsay once he stopped gaping about and stepping on her as he looked at stuff. HA.

Then we got to the ring and she got on Toulouse and I sat in the middle of the ring with my horse and then Lindsay is like I can pony Finn. I wasn’t sure (The last ponying we did was on Luna and she was EVIL). HA.

Is that not the funniest mismatch of all mismatches?? HAHAHAH.

Finn was really good (And Toulouse was a damn saint!) considering. It took him a hot minute to realize he had to rate his speed with Tolouse but he did.

It was pretty darn cute over all!

Then Lindsay was like let’s trot. I was like hiding my eyes by then. But again. No worries at all.

How stinking cute is this?? Finn and Toulouse are just great together.

Then Lindsay is like I am going to pony him back to my barn. I was like okay. Meanwhile as I struggled the mile plus walk back to the barn through fields and trails, Lindsay and Toulouse took my pony on his first official trail ride. He was SO GOOD.

I can’t even tell you how cute this was and how thrilled I was that my pony was SO GOOD. So many times I wonder what I did buying this greenie beanie horse who is nothing but trouble. BUT THEN MY HEART SWELLS SIX TIMES when I see him trying his hardest to be the bestest boy. Love him so much (T and Lindsay aint bad either 🙂 )

I WAS EXHAUSTED and did about 10k steps. It was a literal hike for me! It was hot too!

Overall I was very pleased. Now this week he has a training lesson tomorrow and then we go on a Easter Egg Hunt on Friday with Finn and T! Let’s hope we can keep doing all the things.
