Event Camp is in like 12 days give or take. EEKS. I have a cold. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I have not been ill since since Sept 2022 (Covid) SO am annoyed. But it could be worse. At least I got it now. And I am excited about going to Chatt Hills. Just a lot still to do before then.
I spent all weekend with Mark cleaning and packing and tossing stuff so all weekend I thought it was allergies till I woke up Monday am not feeling great. Mostly left eye is watering, lots of drainage and a bit of coughing because of the drainage. I truly believe the allergies turned into a cold OR a sinus infection. Don’t think it is Covid again. But anyhoo.
Mark came home so that was nice. Dad goes into his temporary home tomorrow. Let’s hope he likes it enough to want to go to one in North Carolina! It is a nice one he is going to and this way I can get some handyman things done without him sitting there plus some me time as well.
Salty is staying with us. I ended up keeping her. I spent a fortune on her right away and then they were going to place her in another foster home and I was just like how do I adopt? So we have three dogs again 🙂 She is cute and is doing so great. She even did a little run around the room today which she has never done. She is definitely coming out of her shell.
Remus is not ready for hot weather, I rode on Sunday and we didn’t do much but he was not feeling it. Neither was I. Time to start riding really early or really late.
So that is it in a nutshell. Maybe I will write more when I feel better. Off to go cough a lung up. UGH. HATE BEING SICK especially a head cold. SO GROSS. 🙂 Happy Tuesday (if you aren’t sick I hope you are not!).

Congrats on the new pup! I’m glad you’re keeping her, I could tell you liked her a lot when you introduced her. Hope everything else goes smoothly (especially with your dad!) and can’t wait to read about eventing camp!

I was sick last week too, and broke down and went to the doctor eventually and they where really no help. Sorry you feel shitty too.
Cannot wait to hear all about eventing camp! I think we will be crossing paths almost. We are doing the Schooling show at chatt & I think its the saturday before eventing camp? You will have to keep me updated on all the fun of camp! Wish I had the days to take off work to have joined you!

It is the sat before as some eventing camp peeps are going then staying. 🙂 I wish you could have gone too. This is a huge leap of faith for me to do on my own!! LOL I am a tiny bit scared. UGH I hate even asking the doctor as they dont do anything as you say!
