Packing Up and All That Stuff…

I have moved many times in my life as most of you know already. It should get easier? It does not. I am not as young as I used to be. The air quality in TN is slowly killing me with my sinuses. And so on.

But the movers came this week whew. Mark flew home to help this weekend and flew back to NC on Monday while the movers were packing. Then they came back yesterday and loaded up.

The experience was fine they were amazing. The company listened to me and sent a smaller truck. But guys, it was very very very very hot and humid. UGH. But if you need a moving company ask me. They were TOP NOTCH and I have had some very crappy moving experiences as you may remember. Never moving again. HA! 🙂

The house is a whole lot emptier now. I boarded the dogs and took the cats up to the apartment where they freaked out but were safe enough.

Last night all four dogs (including my dad’s Chihuahua) and three cats slept like logs. I think they were glad it was over. I know I was.

But I feel like I have a moving hangover. I could sleep for a week. UGH. I am not as sick as I was but still coughing at night. I am just tired.

I am living here with a few dishes, a couch (We are getting rid of anyway) a bed (Which is not as comfy as mine I sent mine with movers cause it was so heavy), my desk and all my screens and work laptop, and a thousand and one dog beds and cat towers. I did keep my kitchen table as it is light and we have the built in bench there.

In Remus news, he is doing amazing. He has a half lease now who adores him as well (a young woman even though I keep saying girl HA). He is fit and happy. I will leave him at Trinity until the Fall and cooler weather.

Oh and I am totally telling you how stupid I am. Enjoy the laugh. I have been riding each week or trying to do so, but yesterday five hours after the movers left? I realized they had packed my boots and helmet. OOPS. Anyone selling size 9 wide calf boots? They are in storage for 3-4 weeks no matter. HA I am an IDIOT. I am off to go boot shopping (THANK god I still have my old helmet which can work for now). But I can’t believe I didn’t notice!!
