I planned to do two posts this week and lookie here it is already THURSDAY! HOW did that happen?
Remus
Remus is doing okay. I have put him up any day where it gets a bit hot during the day in his stall with his fan, and that has helped immensely with his sheath. He did have a HUGE bug bite on his belly yesterday though poor guy. Also I need to get my ass (and his~!) in gear as Event Camp is in a little over a month away. HOW??
Between a lifetime supply of SWAT and slathering him with creams/clays you name it, we are fighting the battle to keep the flies off his crotch area AND belly area now.
Luna
So the shoes on the front are helping while she is still a bit sore she is moving forward on training. Well not moving forward that much but you will see….
Luna has come into heat (shocking NOT) and is still the biggest sleaze around (too bad she didn’t outgrow this!). She is very strong in her neck and head and is rebelling with it but she has no meanness in her and even the working students can ride her now. They aren’t doing a ton with her and she is still in the round pen but she is cute at certain moments under tack!!
AP to Luna, probably
Unfortunately, Luna sounds like she is as wide as Remus (and has a lot of his lazy characteristics, yes i have a type obviously!). So none of those skinny tbred saddles fit her very well. AP is going to try her in a treeless saddle soon. I hope to get to GA in the next few weeks to see how Luna is doing in person.

I’m dying at the sleeze comment. Dee falls in that crowd too, we’ve gotten past the outrageous offensive feelings working while in heat, but she a nosey wench (affectionate) and when she’s in heat has to know what everyone is doing at all times. And is incredibly in love to her mare neighbor, whoops. Luna looks lovely undersaddle!! What a grown up lady!

Ohhh she’s so pretty! No wonder she’s a hussy, she knows what she’s got… Hahaha! Mares. Sheesh.
I feel you on the wide saddle problems. Eros is my narrowest, and he’s in a wide. Al has an extra wide. And I dunno what you call Shiny’s. But it’s wider than Al’s.
