After weeks, nay MONTHS Of nothing going on we finally have NEWS!! I know this has been a drought of information and blogging lately because how many times can you tell everyone it is hot as hell and/or dry/and or raining and so on. (Turns out you can write about that millions of times as I have already done)!
But, BUT….
On Monday Finn FINALLY MOVED to the Training Barn. Umm only like 2 and half months later than he was supposed to do so.
He has new friends. He started working this week albeit learning how to walk on the trail in hand without killing (as in walking on top of) the trainer. New skills and all that stuff.
We have had a lot of rain and muggy conditions so we will take each day as it comes. BUT finally he is somewhere where he is TAKEN care of and also getting worked. I am happy (although also broke). But who needs money?
More to come but yay!! I feel like a year and half later we finally have begun our transition into a real riding horse!!
Stay tuned. It might be a bumpy ride but we are getting somewhere!

I am right there with you on constantly harping about the weather this year (or any year). I hate it when the weather interfers with my riding plans. Which is frequently. But here’s to Finn making fast friends and training progress in his new diggs!

Yay for moving in the right direction! Hopefully mother nature gets over herself soon. This year has been so inconsistent because of weather!Can’t wait to hear updates!
