Finn has been in training since August 3rd. And I am so proud to say he has been hacking to and from the ring under saddle on the buckle with the trainer. Now it has been hot as Hades so maybe he is just hot and doesn’t feel like rebelling but still proud of my (BIG) pony 🙂 The trainer loves and enjoys him and says he is just a pleasure to do things with. Things are going slow in the ring because we want a GOOD Foundation on him now that we finally him in a program and I am fine with that!

I have not ridden yet, see again HOT AS HADES. UGH But I am so glad he is settling in and being a very good boy.

Yesterday I got to spend most of the day with Finn as I hauled to the farrier at the vet. I do love traveling with him too he is such a star to unload and load by himself. Just a good boy! And he loves his vet friends so he enjoys his day out even if it is hot out.

He continues to sweat well with the OneAC. He is on a diet (But looks like he has not lost an ounce HA) and is eating ration balancer now with just fescue hay and some turnout. We may test him for metabolic this Fall when he gets his fall vaccines. Him is a BIG BOY! (Did I say that already?)
And if you want to enjoy watching Finn on a trail ride see the link below. So proud of him!
