I decided not to post another blog post till I actually GOT ON MY HORSE and I am happy to say today I did it.
Finn is doing great in training but it is going pretty slow. He is a very good boy but due to him still being emotional at times he doesn’t quite comprehend what is being asked of him. He does trail ride like he has been doing it for years but his trot while coming, his canter is a hot mess and it may be a while before we get that out of him.(NOTE I did not trot nor even attempt to canter, I am not crazy LOL). I am so out of shape my legs were killing me 20 minutes into it all JUST walking. HA
So I got on my horse for the first time in god knows how long. He was great and we did some lateral work and plan to add a lesson a week to his training once his trainer is back from UK in early November.
I swear he is still growing. I do not known when it will end. HA.
