Last time we chatted Finn had gone to the vet and was on stall rest. Well Finn again said hold my beer and ended up going back to the vet for 3 days for them to do stuff to him. He would NOT leave the wrap alone. We got a Tough1 boot on it now and he is back at the original boarding place this week and got to go out by himself today for the first time. It has been a journey! And not a fun one.
This is what it looked like when I took him back to the vet.
GROSS. He pulled out almost every suture as well.
So he went to the vet and had a fun time at his summer camp!
Now he is back home and got the rest of his few sutures removed yesterday. It is a slow healing process and it needs to be wrapped still and he has to wear a boot.
Fingers crossed it continues to heal and we can keep the proud flesh off. Let’s not even add up how much this has cost me as well!
What a few weeks this has been.AND IT IS HOT NOW. hahahahha Finn’s mane is showing the humidity now!
