Finn continues to do well in training. He has good days and bad days but for now is trail riding like a old seasoned trail horse on the buckle with deer jumping out and even gun shots in the distance and he does not care. He is even getting a bit of ring work done. It cooled off a tiny bit so yay but now he is feeling like he knows everything so it is kind of back to basics for him.
BUT he was getting a BIT FERAL so Lindsay and I met on Saturday am to DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT MANE!
He also got a real bridle path for the first time in months. The mane will be a total work in progress but it looks better so far. Once I bathe him later this week I probably will wash his tail and bang it. His tail has grown out so much!! Remember it barely reached his hocks?? No more!

He was so good for pulling his mane and just an all over beauty day. Then Toulouse got done. It took a LOT LESS TIME (because he is like a quarter of the size of Finn! LOL)
Not sure why my horse is not losing weight in training. He is literally eating less than Toulouse eats. He gets a quarter cup of ration balancer and fescue orchard hay. Oh well he is thriving in training. And being a very good boy!
